Some love stories start with a swipe… ours started with a stare.In the spring of 2023, at Bonfire Restaurant, we spent the entire night stealing glances at each other from across the room. Neither of us made the first move… until I finally stood up—and that was all he needed.He walked over, asked me to dance, and just like that… five songs later, we were still on the dance floor like we had nowhere else to be.At the end of the night, he asked for my number.Naturally, I gave him my work number.He looked at me and said, “No… I want your real number.”…and just like that, he passed the first test.I gave in. He started calling me,Facetimed me—and if we’re being honest… I didn’t pick up much. I had a lot going on, and at the time, I didn’t realize I had just met my future husband.But God had other plans.Months later, in the winter, we ended up at the exact same place again. Same room. Same energy. Same instant connection. We locked eyes like no time had passed—and danced the entire night away, again.Only this time… we never went our separate ways.From that night forward, we’ve been inseparable. What started as a dance turned into building a life—moving in together just months later, taking big leaps, and eventually buying the home of our dreams in a brand new state.Through every step, every risk, and every blessing, one thing became clear:This wasn’t luck. This was meant to be.Fast forward—by year three, we were engaged.Now in year four, we stand here ready to promise each other forever.Because this kind of love…the kind that finds you twice, chooses you daily, and grows stronger through every season…only comes once in a lifetime.

Algunas historias de amor comienzan con un “match”… la nuestra comenzó con una mirada.En la primavera del 2023, en Bonfire Restaurant, pasamos toda la noche mirándonos desde lejos, sin decir una sola palabra. Ninguno daba el primer paso… hasta que finalmente me levanté—y eso fue todo lo que él necesitó.Se acercó, me pidió bailar, y así, sin darnos cuenta… cinco canciones después, seguíamos en la pista como si el mundo se hubiera detenido.Al final de la noche, me pidió mi número.Y claro… yo le di el número del trabajo.Me miró y me dijo: “No… quiero tu número de verdad.”Y ahí mismo, pasó la primera pruebaLe di mi número real, empezó a llamarme, a hacer FaceTime… y si somos honestos, yo casi nunca contestaba. Tenía muchas cosas pasando en mi vida y en ese momento no sabía que acababa de conocer al amor de mi vida.Pero Dios tenía otros planes.Meses después, en el invierno, coincidimos otra vez… en el mismo lugar. El mismo ambiente. La misma conexión instantánea. Nos miramos como si el tiempo no hubiera pasado—y volvimos a bailar toda la noche.Solo que esta vez… no nos volvimos a separar.Desde esa noche, hemos sido inseparables. Lo que comenzó con un baile se convirtió en construir una vida juntos—en pocos meses ya vivíamos juntos, tomando grandes decisiones, y poco después compramos la casa de nuestros sueños en un nuevo estado.Con cada paso, cada riesgo y cada bendición, algo quedó claro:Esto no fue casualidad… esto era destino.Avanzamos en el tiempo—en el tercer año nos comprometimos.Y ahora, en nuestro cuarto año, estamos listos para prometernos una vida juntos.Porque este tipo de amor…el que te encuentra dos veces, el que te elige todos los días y crece con cada etapa…solo ocurre una vez en la vida.
